The approach
A supporting Sand-less restoration example
The floor was deep cleaned and mechanically abraded before a Dark Oak tint and Bona Mega Silk Matt were applied. The method reduced the contrast of worn areas while retaining the textured construction.
Restoration process
How The Floor Was Restored
Deep Clean
The floor was cleaned to remove suitable contamination.
Abrade
The existing finish was mechanically prepared.
Colour Correct
Dark Oak tint helped rebalance visible wear.
Recoat
Bona Mega Silk Matt renewed the protective surface.
The result
A more consistent textured floor
The floor’s colour and protection were rejuvenated without unnecessary removal of its real-wood surface or intentional texture.
